HANCOX - THE MASTER

THE WPGA MASTERS AT EDGBASTON - JULY 30TH

Andy Hancox won the WPGA Masters at Edgbaston in fine style with a closing round of 67. Edgbaston was buffeted all day by a capricious south-westerly and scoring was not easy despite the fact that the course was in the best condition for years. The greens were true and the greenstaff had presented a beautiful course for the competitors. The lead in the morning was held by Jamie Hillier with a 70 but a second round 72 left the door open and Hancox walked straight in! All the scores can be found via a link on the Results Page

THE 18 HOLE SERIES - SEE ONLINE ENTRY FORMS FOR DETAILS

Ingon Manor / West Midlands / Henley & Stoneleigh Deer Park are kindly playing host to us this year. We haven’t visited Ingon Manor for some years so it will be interesting to see how it has matured. West Midlands was the surprise package last year with competitors raving about the course and its superb condition. Henley will be a test if it blows. One of the longer Warwickshire courses it will be interesting to see who tames it. John reay’s Stoneleigh is always a delight to play and will be a fitting venue for the climax of the series
